桃县 Transit is a public transportation service available to all residents of 桃县. 桃县 Transit provides transportation to doctor's offices, grocery stores and pharmacies. Transportation service is also available for medical appointments and dialysis outside of the county. The service operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. 直到下午5点.m.

桃县 Transit operates on an advanced reservation basis. To schedule a trip, call 478-825-5995 Monday through Friday in advance before your requested trip.

  • Please be ready to meet your bus at the curb a few minutes before your scheduled pick-up time.
  • If you will be unable to or choose not to take your scheduled trip, please contact us to cancel as soon as possible, at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time. No-shows waste resources which could otherwise be used to transport others. Persons who abuse this are subject to service cancellation and suspension.
  • Eating, drinking, and smoking are not permitted on board 桃县 Transit vehicles. Food and beverages may only be carried on board if securely closed in spill-proof containers. (No Alcoholic Beverages)
  • Seats at the front of the bus are reserved for seniors and persons with disabilities. Please use these seats only if necessary.
  • Please do not talk to the operator while the vehicle is in motion. Safety is our top priority, and your operator's full attention needs to be on driving.
  • Music may only be played if headphones are used and volume is set low enough not to disturb other passengers.
  • Any items left on board the bus will be taken to the office before the next time the vehicle is put in service. If you believe you may have left something on board, please call our office.
  • Riders are only allowed to transport packages they are able to carry themselves. Drivers are not required to assist with packages.
  • Drivers can assist passengers in boarding and disembarking the vehicle. Drivers are not allowed to enter homes.
  • Pets are not permitted on board 桃县 Transit vehicles. Service animals trained to assist persons with disabilities are welcome.

Wheelchair-accessible service is available. When you call to schedule your trip, please let us know of any assistance you may need in boarding or disembarking from the vehicle. For the safety of all passengers, our policy requires that wheelchairs be secured to the vehicle.

  • Persons using respirators or portable oxygen are permitted on vehicles,
  • Service animals accompanying individuals with disabilities are permitted,
  • Personal care attendants accompanying persons with disabilities are permitted at no charge.

Title VI and ADA Policies

桃县 Transit (PCT) hereby gives notice that it is the policy of PCT to assure full compliance with the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities.

Title VI requires that no person in the United States of America shall, 以种族为理由, color, 性别, or national origin be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity for which MTA receives federal financial assistance.

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) prohibits discrimination and ensures equal opportunity for persons with disabilities in employment, State and local government services, 公共设施, 商业设施, 和运输. It also mandates the establishment of TDD/telephone relay services. The current text of the ADA includes changes made by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (P.L. 110-325), which became effective on January 1, 2009.

How to file a Title VI or ADA Violation Complaint?

  • Any person who believes they have been aggrieved by an unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI or ADA has right to file a formal complaint.  Any such complaint must be in writing and filed within 180 days from the date of alleged discrimination. The complaint should include the following information:
  • Your name, mailing address, and how to contact you (i.e., telephone number, email address, 等.),
  • Identify if the compliant is a Title VI and/or ADA violation complaint,
  • How, when, where and why you believe you were discriminated against. 包括地点, names and contact information of any witnesses, and other information that you deem significant.
